Glad to hear you are feeling connected to Mexico these days... well the hotel you mentioned is owned by this little boutique Hotel chain, so if the hotel in Puebla appeals to you, there is one in San Rafael, Veracruz wich is on the east coast of Mexico, very unspoiled and amazing land, Tajin (built by the Totonacs and then Conquered by the Chichimecs) is close by, and the jungle and beaches in the area are to die for... should I book a room? besos to you....

forgot to mention the name of the hotel is hotel azucar and their website is www.hotelazucar.com check it out...

Absolutely book a room in San Rafael. As long as you can suggest an adorable Mexican – preferably with excellent cooking skills – to come along with the room.

You should check out Hacienda San Angel in Puerto Vallarta. Not only is P.V. awesome (and in Mexico), but this hotel is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen.

Check it out: http://www.haciendasanangel.com/

PS - I'll be in P.V. for New Years. *hint, hint*
